BILLING AND INSURANCE
Billing
Fees are paid at the beginning of each session or billed monthly upon request. Check, cash, Credit card, and Venmo are accepted.

Insurance
Many insurance policies provide Out of Network coverage for mental health services. To find out more about reimbursement you may want to contact your insurance provider and ask:
-
What are my out of network benefits for mental health? Do these benefits cover both in person and telehealth sessions? (If this is applicable)
-
Regarding your session:

Ethical Considerations
I provide a 30 minute free initial consultation to see if I am a good therapeutic fit for you and your family. If so, we will move forward with a disclosure statement and discuss how our therapy sessions will look and feel. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in most cases, although family meetings may be scheduled for longer sessions.

Confidentiality
I hold the information shared within a counseling session with the deepest respect; therefore, all sessions are confidential. State law requires, however, the breach of confidentiality under the following circumstances:
-
Any form of suspected abuse of children, the elderly or developmentally disabled adults.
-
Threat or harm to oneself or others (or others’ property).
-
Subpoena by court order.
Whenever choosing to use your insurance company for reimbursement, please note that you will be submitting a diagnosis code which becomes part of your medical records.
1. Is there a maximum amount of sessions you will reimburse me for? 2. Am I responsible for a deductible, or copayment? 3. What level of coverage do I receive for my diagnosis? 4.How do I submit a superbill (I will provide this to you upon request).
